MVP-C SERIES

Posted on: January 5th, 2024 by josephwill

The MVP Series is a line of proportional valve controllers each housed in an 18mm DIN connector body.

Several versions are available for open and closed loop applications. Bright LED indicators provide an overview of the operating status. System configuration is accomplished through a clip-on infrared adapter, without removing or opening the connector body. All settings are stored in permanent memory within each unit. Each MVP controller is prewired and permanently sealed.

HGC-2 SERIES

Posted on: January 5th, 2024 by josephwill

The highly cost effective HGC-2 is designed to control a generator driven by a hydraulic motor where speed is controlled by a proportional solenoid valve, either directly at the motor or as part of the pump compensator.

The HGC-2 is a closed loop controller that monitors the AC line voltage from the generator output for outer loop closure and provides the necessary current to a valve coil in order to maintain the desired generator frequency. The HGC-2 has a single LED indicator on the top of the unit to provide an overview of the operating status.

DRC SERIES

Posted on: December 22nd, 2023 by josephwill

The DRC Series offers versatility and ease of use in a narrow DIN-rail mounted housing.

The DRC is an electronic control module for use with proportional solenoid valves in open loop systems. The module will provide current to the solenoids of the valve in response to various types of signals provided by the control system. Indicators on the front of the module provide an overview of the operating status. System configuration is accomplished through a convenient remote terminal. All settings are stored in permanent memory within the unit. The unit is housed in an attractive, compact enclosure

FUELCAN™

Posted on: December 14th, 2023 by josephwill

The FuelCAN is a compact interface that translates fuel level sender signals into SAE J1939 CAN bus messages.

The device allows integration of standard senders into modern J1939/CAN bus engine instrument and control systems. FuelCAN inputs can also be factory configured for use with other types of fuel level or resistive senders. FuelCAN is compact and light enough to be incorporated into most wiring harnesses but can also be surface mounted. The polycarbonate case is fully sealed in epoxy resin for high impact and environmental resistance. A rear facing LED indicates input/CAN bus status.

IX3212 INTELLIGENT XPANSION™ POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE

Posted on: December 14th, 2023 by josephwill

The Murphy IX3212 Intelligent Xpansion™ power distribution module (PDM) expands CAN bus control networks by replacing existing relay and fuse boxes with more reliable solid-state switches that can directly drive work lights, wiper motors, cooling fans, directional DC motors and other high current loads.

Each of the 12 PDM outputs can switch or proportionally control up to 15 A loads in 2.5 A increments and feature over-current detection and shut-down capability. Outputs are paired to run up to six electric motors with H-bridge direction control. Twelve digital inputs monitor switched battery, ground and floating inputs. Additionally, six 0-5V analog inputs and two resistive inputs are available with a 5V sensor supply. For applications not requiring a CAN bus control, the inputs can directly trigger outputs without the need for a dedicated controller.
